4.1 Convenient ways to search the web

Emacs-w3m comes with advanced features related to search engines, they are accessible through two interfaces:

• The regular interface, invoked by the S key in any emacs-w3m buffer. It is a simple interactive way to choose which search engine to use and input a search term; see 4.1.1 How to search with emacs-w3m.

• The Quicksearch interface: it is a faster (yet more complicated) way to use search engines, by going to specially crafted URLs. For more information about this feature, see 4.1.2 An alternative (and fast) way to search the web.
