thanks for the link, but one thing isn't yet clear to me:  does w3mmee
track the w3m development, or is it an earlier code-fork?  i wonder if
i'd lose some of the latest w3m developments and features for the
benefit of beeing able to read some foreign languages and a few other
goodies that i'm not sure if i need them.

also, emacs-w3m uses "regular" w3m, no?  so there might be
incompatibilities, if not now, then maybe in the future.
