I could reproduce it.  I think we may call it an Emacs 23 bug
because Emacs must never die by any Lisp programs in principle.
Therefore, what we should do first is to find a general way
(i.e., without using emacs-w3m) to reproduce the bug, and second
is to report it to the Emacs devel team (and third may be to
find out the way to avoid the problem by modifying some Lisp
program).  I'll do so, but you too...
