I did not invoke w3m myself. Rather, wanderlust invoked it on the
HTML part of my email. I don't know the command line that wanderlust
used. All I do know is that before the upgrade, this worked fine. :)

I'll grab the latest as you suggest. Thanks! I'll also remove the
NPROCS thing if I have a later version of GC.
