blank page not cleared on local file error

In the current cvs the "Reading" message remains if a local link is
non-existent.  Eg file foo.html below,

    M-x w3m-find-file
    foo.html
    Ret           follow link to nosuchfile

gets an error

    Cannot retrieve URL

but the message in the buffer

    "Reading ..."

remains.

It could be good if the "Reading" message was cleared when the reading
turns out to fail.  (It's no longer reading ...)

This might be only when browsing a local file.  When there's a 404 from
the server it displays the server info and you can "B" to go back.
