html rendering with w3m on wanderlust mail client

Hi guys.

Today I have been searching for processing html email programatically
(just indirectly related to w3m). But I have found this variable:

mime-view-text/html-previewer

on my case the value of this var is w3m. So html email is rendered with
w3m.

On the net. I have found this comment:

Are You guys aware of this limitation of w3m?. Or this have been solved?
