accept_media=*/*, wildcard/shell problem?

I'll reuse what I just typed on IRC:

<incal> whaat, I can't download that with `w3m-download' as in
        (w3m-download
        "https://www.nifty-networks.net/swirc/releases/swirc-3.3.0.tgz")
        - says "File(/home/incal/src/swirc-3.3.0.tgz)
        downloading failed: zsh:1: no matches found:
        accept_media=*/*" - they do mention that situation in
        the source, line 5899-5901 in w3m.el - but it doesn't
        work. what does that mean ...
