I see.  We Japanese don't have a custom using italic text for
Japanese text.  It is probably the reason I haven't noticed
until today that emacs-w3m (and w3m?) cannot display italic
text.  However, on English pages, I also often look at the
emphasis in italic text, and they are legible.

We should cope with it, though it may not be in time for the
next release.  I'll write in Japanese to appeal to the other
developers in the next mail.
