w3m-e22.el is available since January 2004, but it is only in
the CVS trunk. You can get it as:

Emacs 22 sometimes worked, but sometimes not worked. ;-)

Emacs-w3m will support Emacs 22, of course. It may not always
work well since we don't get down to development seriously yet,
though.
