Today's GNU Emacs CVS snapshot, Wed, 2005 Nov 2 11:21 UTC
GNU Emacs 22.0.50.13 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.6.10)
with this mornings W3M CVS snapshot, Wed, 2005 Nov 2 12:36 UTC
Using the W3M CVS snapshot, I was reading
http://emacs-w3m.namazu.org/
In order to use the shimbun library which is included in the emacs-w3m
distribution, FLIM package have to be installed. For more detail about the
shimbun library, see Shimbun Library section in Info.
and went to see the Shimbun Library section at
http://emacs-w3m.namazu.org/info/goto.cgi?file=emacs-w3m&node=Shimbun+Library
but that Web page said:
Script Internal Error
Can't open node index.
Please send the bug report to emacs-w3m@xxxxxxxxxxx
(Incidentally, the CVS build had two errors:
1. The variable w3m-mule-unicode-symbol was not set, so in
emacs-w3m/w3m-symbol.el I set
(setq w3m-mule-unicode-symbol nil)
at the beginning of that file and all is well.
2. Also, an error is reported when I try to build the Info files
using `make' so I did a `make lisp' instead. The error is
reported to be an extra `-f' but I think the error is different.
(Anyhow, the new Emacs W3M seems to work fine with those two fixes.)
