1〜2年前に実装しようとして、ぼくには無理で断念したものがあるので
すが、それは、

『タブをマウスで掴んで動かして離すと、離したところにタブが動く』

という機能でした。

P.S.
menu に w3m-session-select|save を入れました。どうやら
major-mode で実装しなおす気になったようです :-)
