big pages several times slower than plain w3m

Big pages like the 1.3 Mb byte long http://www.radio3net.ro/1001/
take several times the (clock and CPU) time needed to display in
emacs-w3m vs. plain w3m. 慢數倍。
(Also too bad that a tiny left column menu pushes the very long main
column over and there's no way to overcome that in emacs-w3m or w3m.
One must use lynx.)
And let's do a quick = (w3m-view-header). and now back with B
(w3m-view-previous-page)... oh my god it's rendering it all over
again, better kill it with C-g. Plain w3m does not have this problem.
