Dear all,
I'm a fairly new user of emacs-w3m. Recently I update my GNU EMACS to the
testing version 23. After that, I could no longer use emacs-w3m 1.4.4, which
warned me about the incompatibility. Therefore I checked-out the CVS tree and
updated it.
So far everything went fine except one glitch: If I navigate through a page with
the C-n and C-p keys, EMACS would hang randomly. This happens in an
unpredictable manner, but it seems to me more often if I hold the key for a
while to jump across large areas (yes, I know I should have used C-v ...). I
don't know if anyone else has similar problems.
Also there's a warning produced every time on startup: "Error in
menu-bar-update-hook: (wrong-type-argument stringp nil)". Don't know whether
they are related. (Lisp newbie, and not quite familiar with EMACS :P)
I'll be glad to know more info about it and possible fixes/workarounds.
Thank you for your efforts in improving emacs-w3m!
Regards,
Cong
