w3m-anchor problem?

Hello list,

I assume this is an emacs-w3m problem rather than an emacspeak one,
but do correct me if I'm wrong.  

Hitting "l" on emacs-w3m, bound to command
"emacspeak-webutils-play-media-at-point" gives the error:

emacspeak-w3m-url-at-point: Invalid function: w3m-anchor

Now, w3m-anchor is a macro in w3m-util.el.  Reading the messages on
start-up of emacs, I see:  

!! File w3m-util uses old-style backquotes !!
!! File w3m-ccl uses old-style backquotes !!

Any help appreciated to fix this problem. 


I'm using Ubuntu Intrepid, emacs-w3m version 1.4.4-8, GNU Emacs 22.2.1
(i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.14.1) of 2008-09-05 on vernadsky,
modified by Ubuntu, emacspeak 29.0.
