Hm, it works on Linux. Do others have a similar problem on MAC?
I tried it with the same environment with Harald's, except for
the platform:
emacs-version
=> "GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)\n of 2010-12-24 on pastis"
