That doesn't work for me. It hasn't been working for me in general since
I upgraded to emacs version 25 months agp, and I have chased a number of
'solutions'. For general emacs use, outside of emacs-w3m, I've written
and posted a few general functions, but what has still been lacking for
me was something specific for emacs-w3m.
This is a known issue for other people as well in emacs 25+, and has
been discussed on stackexchange and on github.
