Indeed!  I wrote it.

That options exist only in the development version of emacs-w3m.
Could you please use emacs-w3m-1.2.50 or check the most recent
sources out from the CVS server?

Let me say defensively that Oort Gnus is being developed and it
requires also the development version of emacs-w3m. :-p
