The fix that works for me to be able to use the new duckduckgo website
is to modify the entry in variale w3m-search-engine-alist to
("duckduckgo" "https://lite.duckduckgo.com/lite" utf-8 "q=%s")
We can't expect corporations to let us know in advance about these kind
of changes, so this inconvenience is just the way it is.
Depending upon your set-up and your technical level, you can either
modify your `w3m-init-file', or use the emacs variable customization
feature at the bottom of the page C-h v w3m-search-engine-alist.
