  I don't deny shimbun library could handle RSS contents by a gateway
program (provisionally `sb-rss.el' you said).  It is true absolutely.
I meant we might not be able to unify RSS and shimbun for their
further developments.   Since their approaches are very difficult, one
is making a XML file in the format and one is processing a HTML as an
author likes.

After all shimbun could read RSS contents via gateway,  however, RSS
could not read web contents without RSS files fed by some server (or
shimbun makes the RSS format files as its intermediate files...however
does it mean that shimbun allows to downgrade its features?).

And more, I don't agree that shimbun makes the RSS file, as it makes
copyright matters more complex.
